Hi All,
Thank you for taking the time to visit "the simple thoughts of curly girl"! My purpose for starting this blog is to share with you scripture & quotes that are encouraging me in the presence of joy and hardship, sweet memories with loved ones, and the adventures both BIG and small in my life.
This in a sense is something very new for me & I'm hoping it lasts in the long run...especially since my first attempt many years ago flopped! That time of my life was crazy busy, traveling on the road for a non-profit, and truly having to "schedule" time to just sit & be still.
On the reversal, this summer is an exciting time for me, with a lot more free time I plan on actually finishing the books I've started, getting out the glue-gun to make crafts, and spending quality time with my family & friends. I believe whole-heartidly that God has me in this place for a reason and I'm excited to be sharing it with you. Hopefully this encourages you to do the same, to take time for yourself no matter how hectic life my be. It's a freeing feeling to get my thoughts out and to process His faithfulness in the BIG and small things that are being worked out in life.
